Meet Our People 3

Behind every successful deal and every successful client stand the people from the agency's team who ensure that everything happens in the best possible way. This time, we are talking to Galina Kutuleva from the brokers' team and Marina Nikolova from our legal department.

Let's start with the traditional question. What are the three most important qualities that a successful real estate broker should possess?
Galina: Discipline, excellent communication skills, and an affinity for negotiation.

What is your favorite moment of the working day?
Galina: There are many and they are different. Sipping the first coffee of the day, the satisfaction of completing a task, and the moments when we share funny things with colleagues.
Marina: I love to compare work to sports. My favorite moment of the working day is when I see the team's overall success.

How would you explain what you do to a 5-year-old child?
Galina: I help people who need a home find a sunny, bright, and happy house.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Marina: Riding in nature.

What are the three most important things you look for in a property?
Galina: Location, unchangeable property parameters, and whether it has sentimental value for the seller.

How do you deal with failures? What helps you stand up and move forward?
Galina: Every failure is a slightly delayed success, so these moments neither worry nor demotivate me. I have my guiding maxim, which says: There is no unrewarded effort. Therefore, whatever happens, even if a person experiences some failure, it is a lesson he has gone through, and in most cases, he has learned something extremely valuable and important.
Marina: Everyone experiences failures in their life. First, we need to accept the fear of failure and not exaggerate our responsibility for the failure. I look at failures realistically and make a plan for my future actions.

What do you like about Sofia?
Marina: Life in such a big city has many advantages. Your free time can always be filled – there are many theaters, concerts, and other entertainments. There is always a lot to do, and the opportunities for shopping are endless. There is a chance for career development and new acquaintances.
Galina: The fact that it grows but does not age. I like its parks, hidden alleys, the charm of old buildings, and landmarks.
