Wine tour in the spring

For wine fans, today we're lifting the curtain and taking a peek at all the surprises to come this spring in our lovely capital.

Already in the middle of the month of March - 11.03. Hyatt Regency Sofia will host the DiVino TOP 50 for 2022 - a tasting event of the best 50 Bulgarian wines for 2022, selected and ranked by the DiVino tasting panel, as well as award ceremony.

The event emphasizes the most attractive and interesting side of wine, while at the same time the aim of the hosts from DiVino is to demonstrate the increasingly high class and progress of Bulgarian wine.




Between 22.04. and 24.04., Inter Expo Center will host the Wine & Spirit Show 2023 - the only business exhibition of its kind that meets producers and traders of wine and spirits with real customers. All connoisseurs of high class wine are welcome, wishing to meet the best in the industry and taste the best selections of wines.

The event will be organized in several thematic areas: Trade area - intended for small and large producers, traders and importers; Master Class zone - master classes, professional tastings, lectures and presentations will be organized there; Explore and discover zone - in it, the Trade Sections at the embassies and bilateral Chambers of commerce will present by country, the specifics of production, the history of the alcohol industry, as well as all the novelties related to various developments and technologies; Business area for meetings - giving the opportunity to hold previously requested meetings; Boulevard of flavors zone - an area transformed into a real urban street food environment, offering the opportunity to taste gourmet food and drinks, coffee, tea, chocolate, olive oil, cheeses and much more.



On 22.04., the first edition of CentoVini, organized by 100% Italiano, will take place. In the elegant concert hall of the Central Military Club, around 25 winemakers from Italy will present their wines, presenting the different flavors and aromas that carry the specificity of the different regions from the entire territory of Italy.



Discover.VINO 2023 will take place on May 13 and 14 in Hall 3 of the NDK and is the place where connoisseurs, connoisseurs and wine lovers meet importers and producers in person, and can hear the stories behind each wine while enjoying it. The event will offer its visitors a round-the-world journey with the tasting of hundreds of wines from legendary wine regions on 5 continents, of all price categories, all types and styles.



14.05. is the date that all ladies who love fine wines should keep in their calendars, especially for the Wine Women Show 2023. The location will be the Central Military Club and the event is the only wine show of its kind that will showcase wines made by ladies and by the best female oenologists in Bulgaria and around the world.



In the last days of spring - between 15. and 17.06. under the open sky, right in front of the NDK and in a town specially built for the event, the 12th edition of the Balkan Wine Festival will be held. The organizers guarantee that all visitors will be able to choose and taste among thousands of wines from the Balkan region, enjoying a great atmosphere with pleasant jazz music and trying delicacies from different national cuisines.
