Beaujolais Nouveau 2023 has arrived in Sofia!

Galardo Real Estate, together with Groupama Insurance, were official partners in the most anticipated event of the year – the Welcome of the new Beaujolais Nouveau vintage! 

Beaujolais Nouveau is one of the most popular wines in the world, produced from the Gamay grape variety. This wine is known for its fresh taste, which is emphasized by the rapid fermentation process, allowing the wine to be bottled just a few weeks after the grapes have been harvested. As early as the 1800s, Beaujolais producers gathered to celebrate the end of the harvest by toasting the harvest with some of the young wine produced for the year. Traditionally, every year on the third Thursday of November, the world enjoys the new Beaujolais Nouveau vintage.

The celebratory event took place on November 16, 2023, organized by CCI France Bulgarie at the National Palace of Culture, and provided guests with an exceptional evening of remarkable wine, fine French cuisine and numerous opportunities to establish valuable business contacts.

The event was opened by Mr. Stefan Delaye, Chairman of FBTIC, Ms. Vesela Todorova-Mozettig, Director of FBTIC, Ms. Iliyana Yotova, Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria, H.E. Mr. Joel Meyer, Ambassador of France in Bulgaria and Mr. Dobromir Dobrev - member of the Board of Directors of UBB, general partner of the event.

At the festive ceremony, the first bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau was opened, and the guests were delighted to immerse themselves in the unique taste and aroma of this year's harvest and enjoyed the performances of Vera Shandel and the Angel Zaberski Trio.
